Contribute to a winning team and student-athlete excellence
The UNM Women’s Rugby team is looking for sponsors and donors to help support our team and continue to grow our success.
Our rugby team was established in 2000. Since then, we have qualified to participate in the US Pacific Mountain Playoffs eleven times. In the past 6 years, we qualified for the US Sweet Sixteen five times and reached the US Final Four once. In Spring 2016, we qualified for the US Elite Eight and are proud to be ranked within the top 20 in the nation. With your help, we strive to become #1.
As a club sport, we are not NCAA sanctioned and therefore rely solely on fundraising and sponsorships to keep competing. As a Division 1 team, we are required to travel often, so most funding goes toward transportation, lodging, and food in addition to operational costs.
Since we began, we’ve developed 6 All-American female rugby players, 10 US Western All-Star Players, and the first New Mexico rugby player to be part of the US National Team. We’d like to invite you to be part of this tradition and help us win our first national championship.
All donations are tax-deductible through the UNM Foundation. We have four levels of donation, though all amounts are welcome:

Rookie Level $50 – When you donate $50, we’ll add your logo to our website and you’ll get a UNM Women’s Rugby t-shirt.

Club Level $200 – When you donate $200, you get everything you get at Rookie-level plus your logo on all flyers and a shout-out on all social media channels.

Captain Level - $500 - When you donate $500, you get everything you get at Club level plus a signed rugby ball to display at your business or home.

Professional Level - $1000 – When you donate $1000, you get everything you get at the Captain level plus a signed jersey, signage at Lobo matches, and a huge amount of gratitude!

Other options that you can donate to us are products or services that are offered from your business so we can raffle them off and we will give you a shout out on all of our social media
